Is AI taking our jobs or changing them?

Is AI taking our jobs, or is it changing how we work? 🤔

Many of us have been thinking about this question. Throughout history, technological shifts have eliminated some jobs and created others: tractors reduced the need for farm labor but created new work in agricultural engineering; computers displaced typewriters and brought software development.

AI marks a similar turning point. Repetitive tasks such as data entry, basic reporting, and basic customer support are being automated quickly. At the same time, the need is growing for people who can manage and oversee AI and make ethical and strategic decisions.

Maybe the better question isn't "Will AI take my job?" but "Will someone who learns to use AI replace someone who doesn't?"

My takeaway: AI is a tool that can give people an advantage. Those who use it well may take the place of those who don't.
