PERSONAL · READING NOTE

Seyir: The mind and awareness

After reading Seyir, one of the ideas that stayed with me most was the difference between the mind and awareness.

The mind is always talking: interpreting the past, imagining the future, amplifying fears, and weighing possibilities. Awareness feels like a quieter, calmer space that observes it all.

We often mistake the thoughts our minds produce for who we are. Yet when we take a step back, we start to see that thoughts simply come and go.

I think this is where freedom begins:
When we can observe our thoughts instead of getting lost in them.

Seyir reminded me:
Sometimes moving forward doesn't come from thinking more, but from stepping outside the mind and looking at ourselves from a calmer place.
