Is networking just about hardware?

While studying computer networks this week, a question came to mind: Is networking only about hardware? 🌐

Cables, modems, switches, and routers might be the first things we think of. But IP addressing, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and other communication protocols are also part of it.

Looking at the OSI model, we can see how everything from physical components to the application layer works together.

In short, networking is neither just hardware nor just software. It is a broad field in which both work together through protocols.
